The patient had a sports accident a few months back. This tooth was repaired a few times with composite fillings. They were breaking periodically. A porcelain veneer is made to prevent future chipping and fracture.

The patient was concerned with the frequent chipping of the incisal edge of the upper right incisor. The fractured portion was repaired using minimally invasive direct composite filling materials (Layering technique) with ideal tooth preparation design and material selection. The patient was thrilled with the outcome.

During the Covid lockdown, the patient had a trauma while playing. She lost a few front teeth. A very young patient, about 12 yrs old. The patient does not meet the age requirements for dental implants. An esthetic-acceptable removable flipper is made to meet her esthetic needs, which will be altered periodically while she is growing. I will monitor her until she is aged 17-18. Once she stops growing, Then we explore replacement options with dental implants.

The patient had a slip-and-fall accident. She fractured some of her front teeth and will lose a few. The fractured and missing front teeth were replaced with an implant-supported fixed bridge (upper left three front teeth) and a single crown on the upper right front tooth (discoloured tooth).

The challenge was to match the new three crowns with her existing old and aging porcelain crowns, Three new crowns was made for the two central incisors and one right lateral incisor. We matched very closely with her old crowns. The patient was thrilled with the outcome.

The patient was referred to redo a grey-shaded old crown, the old crown was removed, and a new crown was made to meet the patient’s esthetic expectations.

A very young 10-year-old patient had an accident at school. He chipped and fractured his two front teeth, multiple repairs were attempted, but they kept chipping and breaking. Due to the patient's age, a revised preparation design and minimally invasive restorations of the two front teeth were done using direct esthetic composites. The patient will need braces in a few months. Bonded restorations on teeth will facilitate better placement of orthodontic brackets during orthodontic treatment. Once the patient is 19 or 20, we will change these into two single crowns.
