Course Description:
Design principles for partial dentures and partial overdenture have been quite challenging, the focus of this comprehensive program is to provide key concepts regarding design principles, esthetic challenges and patient satisfaction. Participants will learn the most prevalent clinical variations, free end saddles, tooth-borne attachments, implant-supported attachments, combinations of implants and tooth-supported prostheses. on the program: Will cover different cases of varying difficulty by incorporating all the clinical steps, design principles involved with the fabrication of RPDs, partial overdentures.
Course Objectives:
Review basic design principles that are applicable in every clinical case.
Explore various methods of impression making for RPD frame fabrication.
Compare the methods available for connecting and improving saddle adaptation.
Review different types of RPDs, removable partial overdentures and attachments, clasp designs.
To familiarize with all the relevant components and materials used in fabricating RPDs, RPODs.
