Course Description:

Want to start incorporating dental implants in to your practice? This comprehensive 3 weekend implant course will give participants the background knowledge and clinical skill for the prosthetic phases of implant treatment. Participants will be able to see the different perspectives from periodontology, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. This program satisfies the RCDSO hands on and didactic requirements for the prosthetic phase of implant treatment.

Patient Communication, treatment letters, referral process, collecting records.

Pharmacology and physiology.

Radiology and CBCT based treatment planning, guided implant surgery

Implant Prosthetics, impressions, abutments, prosthetic kits.

Grafting Materials

Immediate Implants, Anatomical considerations and limitations.

Implant Surgery, Flap Design and Suturing Techniques, surgical complications.

Single and multiple missing teeth.

Esthetic and non-aesthetic zone.

Multiple Implant systems.

Socket Preservation Grafting, Soft Tissue Preservation.

Digital systems- cerec, nobel, simplant.

Overdenture, crowns, bridges, multiple units.

Screw vs. cement retained restorations.

Implant maintenance.
