Dr. El-Mowafy
Dr. Nora El-Mowafy is a Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics at Dental Specialists Group. She provides comprehensive prosthodontic care focused on restoring oral health, rebuilding lost function, and helping patients achieve natural smile esthetics. Her work is centered on individuals who are looking to improve comfort, stability, and confidence through thoughtful, well-planned treatment.
Dr. El-Mowafy received her Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Future University in Egypt before completing advanced specialty training at the University of British Columbia, where she earned both a Master of Craniofacial Science degree and a Diploma in Prosthodontics. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and has been practicing prosthodontics for seven years across multiple clinics in the Greater Toronto Area.
Her clinical focus includes fixed and removable prosthodontics, veneers, esthetic dentistry, and implant dentistry. She treats patients requiring crowns, bridges, implant-supported restorations, and complete or partial dentures. Known for careful planning and precision, Dr. El-Mowafy approaches each case with individualized treatment design and close attention to patient comfort.
In addition to private practice, she serves as a clinical instructor in Prosthodontics at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry. She is also a member of the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada and the Ontario Dental Association.

Outside the clinic, Dr. El-Mowafy enjoys tending to her plants and orchids, spending time outdoors, baking, travelling, and playing with dogs and other animals.
