Dr. Abdelaziz
Dr. Abdelaziz is a clinician at Dental Specialists Group with a focused practice in the assessment and management of chronic oral and facial pain conditions. She is known for her positive energy, attentive listening, and methodical approach—helping patients feel at ease while navigating complex and often frustrating pain concerns.
She completed advanced training in orofacial pain management through the Department of Dentistry at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Abdelaziz works with patients experiencing jaw joint and muscle pain (TMD), clenching and grinding, facial pain, headaches and migraines, sleep-related concerns, and neuropathic pain disorders. She is also trained in the safe and effective use of opioids for chronic non-cancer pain when clinically appropriate, with careful consideration given to each patient’s overall health and goals.
Dr. Abdelaziz has practiced in both hospital and multidisciplinary pain settings. She previously served as a staff dentist in the TMD and facial pain clinic at Mount Sinai Hospital and at the Wasser Pain Management Clinic. In addition, she has held instructional roles at the Faculty of Dentistry at the University of Toronto, reflecting her commitment to education and thoughtful, evidence-based care.
